Glaze - 'White Cap'

Inspired by the body of water that my family runs their business off of. Grand Lake St. Marys. The marina is where we spend every waking hour in the summer. Pumping gas, docking boats, and handing out free popcorn. It’s more work than you can imagine, but it never feels like it. Small town people, a couple beers, and anything that floats. That’s all you need.

White glaze is hand brushed over the rim of every piece, mimicking the lapping of waves on a stormy day. The glaze will glimmer against the rough clay body, just as the lake glimmers until it meets the rocky shore.
