Artist Statement - 

Being a “townie” of my small town, i rarely was out in the country. when i turned 16 my best friend and i would go on drives at night, almost once a week if not more. we’d go right before sunset and i often was in the passenger seat looking at all of the trees and barns and silos we passed by. the silos and barns were never something i really thought about much until i went to college in cleveland, anytime id pass a familiar silo id smile to myself. they were always consistent, honestly only ever seen maybe two or three variants of silos in my life. they were memorable, simple in design yet when you looked at them from an artists perspective they were quite fun to look at. repetitive like work that lined up perfectly everytime. reliable, as any small town in mercer county tends to be.
